F1 extends Kayo Sports and Foxtel Australia broadcast deal into 2027 and beyond

Formula 1 and the Foxtel Group have extended their multi-year Australian broadcast partnership, keeping every practice, qualifying session, and race on Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel for the 2027 season and beyond, the series announced March 3.

Races remain live in 4K for Kayo subscribers, with unique live feeds and on-demand F1 Minis. Coverage is also available to Foxtel subscribers, with racing shown ad-break free. Network 10 remains the free-to-air partner for the Australian Grand Prix.

“We’re delighted to be extending our partnership with the Foxtel Group so that our fans in Australia can continue to enjoy comprehensive coverage of Formula 1 on Kayo SPORTS and FOXTEL,” Formula 1 Chief Media Rights and Broadcast Officer Ian Holmes said. “With new regulations, new teams, new drivers, new race locations and more, there’s never been a more exciting time to engage with the sport.”

The announcement landed days before the 2026 season opened in Melbourne (March 6–8), locking continuity for Australian fans as the new regulations era began — useful context for Austin readers following how F1 is packaging the 2026 reset worldwide.
