Inter Miami has received an invitation to attend the White House to celebrate the team’s 2025 MLS Cup win, a club source has confirmed to ESPN.

Although Inter Miami is expected to attend the reception next week during their visit to Washington when traveling to face D.C. United, details have yet to be finalized.

Inter Miami will follow the longstanding tradition in American sports of celebrating the league title with a reception at the White House.

DC United were the first MLS team to attend the White House in 1998 after winning the Cup, while LA Galaxy have visited on multiple occasions by winning in 2011, 2012 and 2014.

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham visited the White House with the Galaxy in 2012 to celebrate the League Cup.

The Hirons lifted the 2025 MLS Cup on December 6, defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale for the team’s first league title.

Although the team had previously lifted the Supporters’ Shield and the League Cup, the MLS Cup remained an unachieved goal until they finally clinched the title last season.
