BUFFALO, N.Y. — The newest member of the extended Buffalo Bills family has officially arrived, as quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, singer-actress Hailee Steinfeld, announce the birth of their daughter.
The announcement came via Steinfeld’s newsletter, Beau Society, on Thursday morning. The subject of the newsletter is “Special delivery…” It includes an image of a stork carrying a child in a piece of cloth with a pink heart on it.
“Our baby girl has arrived!! We feel incredibly grateful and blessed and are enjoying these early moments,” Steinfeld wrote in the newsletter. “Thank you so much for the love and well wishes. Love, Hayley and Josh.”
The couple did not share the date of birth or the name of their first child. They announced on December 12, 2025 that they were expecting a child after marrying on May 31. Steinfeld, 29, and Allen went public with their relationship in spring 2023. He proposed in November 2024 during the Bills’ bye week.
Allen, also 29, shared his excitement about becoming a father in late January after Bills coach Joe Brady’s introductory news conference.
“I am very much looking forward to having my wife become a father,” Allen said. “It’s something I’ll look back on with pride, and we’ll have to figure things out as we go, just like anything else. But this is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, which is being a father. I know I love being a football player and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, but I’m looking forward to this.”
The Bills are scheduled to begin the team’s offseason program next week under Brady. Allen, who is entering his ninth NFL season in Buffalo, had offseason surgery on a fracture in his right foot but is looking forward to participating.
