With the 2026 Winter Olympics less than a week away, the stakes were almost as high as ever on Monday.

Led by the USA Women’s Hockey Team, who are coming off a dominant 6-0 win over Italy in the quarterfinals, they will face Sweden in the semifinals with hopes of setting up a potential rematch against Canada in the gold medal game.

Speaking of which, the USA will look to keep the momentum going against Italy in women’s curling. The US team is currently 4-1 in home and away matches.

In the women’s monopop, Americans Kaylee Armbruster Humphries, Ilana Myers Taylor and Kayisha Love have their eyes on a medal, as Armbruster Humphries looks to defend her Olympic title.

World silver medalists Minerva Fabian Haas and Nikita Volodin lead by nearly five points in pair skating as they head into the free skate on Monday night.
