Tuesday’s fixture headlines a rematch from the final day of the league stage, with Jose Mourinho’s Benfica looking to upset Alvaro Arbeloa’s Real Madrid in Lisbon once again. However, it was Vinicius Junior who scored the winner to help the visitors snatch a crucial 1-0 away win.
Elsewhere, it’s an entirely Francophone affair, with Monaco taking on defending champions Paris Saint-Germain, and while… Monaco Taking an early lead with two goals from Folarin Balogun, the reigning Champions League champions completed the comeback with a 3-2 win.
Finally, Borussia Dortmund received Atalanta, but ended the match victorious, beating the Italian club 2-0.
