What the club said about the week
Austin is coming off a 0-0 draw at FC Dallas last Saturday at Toyota Stadium in Frisco. The club said Brad Stuver stopped Kaick in the 11th minute, Jon Gallagher’s shot was saved in the second half, and Stuver made two more saves in stoppage time. That result made it seven matches unbeaten. Allen Chapman was the referee. The club listed the weather as clear and 90 degrees.
The match preview says San Diego is one point ahead in the Western Conference. San Diego goalkeeper CJ dos Santos, who made six saves in a 2-2 draw with Inter Miami, will miss Saturday on international duty with Cape Verde.
